The new Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, which come into force in January 2023, state that the ‘responsible persons’ must deliver the necessary fire door information for residents of multi-occupancy buildings.
FireDNA will enable Building Owners, Landlords, FM’s and TMO’s to do this easily and cost effectively by allowing residents, tenants and leasees to simply scan the FireDNA QR Code on the door edge label with their mobile devices to see the ‘live status’ of their fire doors, which in ‘real-time’ will show them if their door has been inspected and is compliant and safe, or if it’s under review for repairs, remedial works or needs replacing.
