The International Organisation for Standardisation defines facilities management (FM) as the “organisational function which integrates people, place and process within the built environment with the purpose of improving the quality of life of people and the productivity of the core business.”
Members roles cover management of a wide range of areas including: health and safety, risk, business continuity, procurement, sustainability, space planning, energy, property and asset management.
The IWFM recognises the joint responsibility of Facilities Management, IT and Human Resources to achieve optimal performance between people, technology and the built environment.
We look forward to assisting Facility Managers and Building Owners across all sectors with their Passive Fire Product Asset Management, Fire Safety Compliance Reporting and Fire Risk Assessments.
