Following our two FIS Award wins back in Feb, we have now also been shortlisted for the FSM Awards ‘Fire Safety Project of the Year 2023’ which is excellent news!

The category has been whittled down to 12 entries, across a diverse range of fire safety projects from ‘FirePro UK for Lloyds of London’ to ‘Sonny Whites Excessively loud fire alarms’, so the judging panel are going to have quite a task ahead of them in selecting the category winners, but fingers crossed!

Our award entry outlined the aim of the project, which was to enable BAML the Asset Management Firm to make sure 25,000 of its Fire Door and Doorset assets were meeting the new Fire Safety and Compliance Standards in-line with the legislative change that came into force in England in January 2023.

To undertake this BAML recognised that they would need specialist Software and a Mobile App solution that could be used by a team of qualified Fire Door Inspectors to commence an immediate asset audit and review.

BAML chose FireDNA as it’s digital partner to not only capture and deliver that data, but to also enable them to keep the data maintained and up-to-date going forwards, in-line with the lifecycle of the products and the required inspection regimes, and remedials.

BAML appointed The FDI (The Fire Door Inspectors) a London based fire door inspection company to deliver the programme, and BM Trada Accredited PBI Contractors for the remedial works, both using the FireDNA Mobile App.
